Citizens of many houses in Manhattan and Brooklyn get that vibe. It is among the reasons numerous people are drawn to New York.
East River Partners brings this idea to a whole new level. Jody Kriss and East River Partners focus on renovating historical structures and turning them into contemporary, cutting edge apartments. Anybody who has ever strolled around New York City has most likely walked previous lots of stone-step settings that lead up to someone's house. Those who have not remained in New York City most likely have seen those type of steps on TELEVISION. It's a traditional introductory shot in programs embeded in the city.
East River Partners does not change any of that. From the outside, ERP houses look like they have not changed in 100 years, and for the most parts they have not. Kriss, the co-founder of East River partners, said in an interview with The New York Times that the structures ERP purchases are at least 100 years old. These houses, especially those in Brooklyn, like like old-fashioned city brownstones from the outside. Inside, however, it's all 21st century, with maybe an old fireplace or original stained glass supplying a sense of the building's history. These apartment or condos provide lots of area and light with high ceilings, modern devices, enjoyable views as well as a personal garden in one system.
